You might not even know it, but Asian excellence has probably inspired more than one aspect of your daily life. After championing ten icons who shaped the sneaker industry, we’ve now teamed up with the kind people over at Dear Asian youth London to round up some independent Asian businesses and creatives that should be on your radar right now!
Why is this important? Well, with the #StopAsianHate hashtag more prevalent than ever, we’re using our platform to showcase these underrepresented voices. While following these individuals on social media might seem a little trivial especially in testing times like these, it’s a small step to ensure that even when the #StopAsianHate hashtag fades away, Asian dislike actually stops.
So, from jewellery makers and tattoo artists to sneaker customisers and consignment store owners, here are just a few Asian businesses and creatives that you should check out today! You don’t even have to buy anything from them to show your support, a simple “Follow” or “Like” will definitely be appreciated!
